Colt 1860 Army .44 Caliber Revolver Reproduction

The Colt 1860 Army .44 Caliber Revolver is one of the most historical of all black powder revolvers and needs no introduction to the shooter or collector. Technological advances in metallurgy allowed the development of this harder hitting .44 caliber revolver, which was sleeker and more lightweight than the old Dragoons. The cylinder has authentic roll engraving. The brass trigger guard is highly polished, and the steel strap cut for a shoulder stock. The frame, loading lever and hammer are beautifully finished in color case hardening. The precision rifled 8" barrel is made of ordnance steel. It is finished in a deep custom blue. With genuine walnut grips, this classical black powder gun is a collector's dream and is also an outstanding shooter. Also check out our blank firing versions.

Colt 1861 Navy .36 Caliber Revolver
Reproduction

The 1861 Colt Navy Revolver is a streamlined version of the older 1851 Colt Navy revolver, and is one of the most attractive and perhaps the finest of all Colt black powder percussion handguns ever made. It was one of the last military style percussion revolvers and is an excellent gun in all respects.

A total of 38,853 of these fine revolvers were produced in Colt's Hartford, Connecticut factory between 1861 and 1873. Of these, an estimated 4,000 were sold to the U.S. Government, including 650 to the U.S. Navy. This weapon was also purchased by U.S. states and by individuals, and saw extensive use during the Civil War.

IAR's authentic reproduction is made to the highest standards by Pietta. It features a case hardened steel frame, steel backstrap and triggerguard, and a blued 8" steel barrel. The stock is walnut and makes provision for a shoulder stock. This gun will give years of enjoyment to the shooter and collector. At only $239.90, it represents a superior value.
