Colt 1860 Army .44 Caliber Revolver Reproduction

The Colt 1860 Army .44 Caliber Revolver is one of the most historical of all black powder revolvers and needs no introduction to the shooter or collector. Technological advances in metallurgy allowed the development of this harder hitting .44 caliber revolver, which was sleeker and more lightweight than the old Dragoons. The cylinder has authentic roll engraving. The brass trigger guard is highly polished, and the steel strap cut for a shoulder stock. The frame, loading lever and hammer are beautifully finished in color case hardening. The precision rifled 8" barrel is made of ordnance steel. It is finished in a deep custom blue. Colt 1860 Army Sheriff, .44 Caliber

The Colt 1860 Army Sheriff black powder revolver features a short 5 1/2" barrel in .44 caliber and a steel frame. This is the compact version of the more common Colt 1860 Army revolver. Its reduced size made it easier to hide and faster to handle.

1862 Colt Police Revolver Reproduction

These excellent pocket-sized black powder revolvers represent the continuing advancement of earlier models like the 1849 Pocket, which was the daddy of all "Pocket" and "Police" .36 calibers. The Colt 1862 Police Revolver is stronger built and features the larger .36 caliber to maximize velocity, accuracy and performance.
