The Hartford Model 1863 Sharps Military Carbine is produced in .54 caliber with a 22" round barrel and is considered to be the Cavalry Model. The most important parts are machined from forged metal for maximum durability and strength. The stock is made from American walnut. The deep rifling is broached and ensures excellent results in long distance shooting. The front sight is fixed and the rear sight is fully adjustable.
